FORTUNATE SON

This title sequence, for CBC’s new Vietnam-era thriller Fortunate Son was a pleasure to animate. When Sam Javanrough, the immensely talented Creative Director at Eggplant Pictures contacted me for this project, I jumped at the chance to be involved. I not only loved the art style, but the era and subject matter are a particular fascination of mine.

I have yet to watch the show, but it looks genuinely intriguing — an American solider gets shipped off to Canada to track down draft dodgers after killing three men in a friendly fire incident. Extra points for casting Stephen Moyer from True Blood too!
