When 68 year-old Malcom Madsen went missing in Mexico in 2018, his daughter Brooke Mullins was forced to take on the investigation her self. Malcom Is Missing documents her super human resolve to get to the bottom of her father’s disappearance, and the incredible lengths she had to go in search of justice. This film is a gut punch. I’ve worked on a bunch of true crime stuff at this point, but the details of the story and what Brooke has to endure are jaw dropping. I contributed onscreen graphics for the film, including typography, maps and photo treatments. I also had the pleasure of creating the poster for the film.
