Barry Avrich’s film about star chef Sash Simpson is an epic tale indeed. Beginning his life as an orphan in India, Sash was adopted and brought to Canada at an early age. The film not only chronicles his rise in the fine dining scene, but also follows Sash as he returns to India, and attempts to track down his parents.
