I was tasked with creating the Main Title and graphics package for Inside Kenk — a short documentary by Jason Gilmore for TVO, produced by my pals over at The Juggernaut.

Igor was a notorious figure in Toronto — he sat at the head of biggest bike theft ring in North America, all while running a weird DIY repair shop on a trendy section of Queen St W.

Director Jason Gilmore had previously written about Igor’s exploits in a well-received graphic novel. Using that as a jumping off point, we used a mix of stop-motion, print and paper textures to create the look of the film.

Inside Kenk premiered September 3rd, 2019 on TVO and is available to stream on the TVO site.
