Gotta be honest — working on this was a real treat. In addition to working with director Rob Heydon to develop the title sequence, I actually got a chance to meet Irvine Welsh when he came in for a screening. I designed and animated the sequence at The Studio Upstairs. Our post team also completed an extensive list of services including conform, colour correction, packaging and some visual effects work. The film is currently enjoying a world wide festival run.

About Ecstasy:

Ecstasy is a film adaptation of Scottish writer Irvine Welsh‘s novella The Undefeated, one of three included in the Trainspotting author’s 1996 collection of short fiction Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance. The film screened at the Toronto and Atlantic film festivals and premiered in the UK April 20th. Ecstasy features Lord Of The Rings’ Billy Boyd and Smallville’s Kristen Kruek.
