I created this title design for political documentarian Holly Doan’s series Our Times. The six part program explores the massive upheavals in Canadian politics over the last 20 years, exploring topics such as separatism, same sex marriage and terrorism.

Working on this project was interesting. Because the series was airing on the non-profit Cable Public Affairs Channel, the clients were very sensitive to any perceived partisanship in the visuals. So when I pitched this concept based on using blowing Canadian maple leaves to represent the ‘Winds of Change’, the client was worried that it might be perceived as an endorsement of the Liberal party.  Fortunately, I managed to convince them otherwise!
