This film is a ton of fun — even though the central figure is a despicable person. For decades, Albert Rosenberg aka The Yorkville Swindler plied his trade, relieving rich socialites of their fortunes. Barry Avrich’s film has a light, caper-like quality, but doesn’t shy away from calling out his lies and the misery he’s caused. I served as Art Director on the film, creating all onscreen graphics, including the super fun animated title sequence below.
