Director Barri Cohen’s exploration of systemic cruelty and neglect at the infamous Huronia Regional Centre for developmentally disabled children is both heartbreaking and necessary. Cohen lost two half-brothers to Huronia, and her drive to uncover the truth powers the film. Huronia is one more cursed touchstone our country’s tradition of corrupt institutions devouring vulnerable people.  I was tasked with creating the poster for this important film. The crows in the centre of the design are taken from a memorial statue honouring the victims and survivors of Huronia.  You can learn more about the film and Barri’s story here.
